Stainless steel safety rails feature a patented solution (EP Nr. 3496694 and US Nr. 11110019) that makes them firmer and sturdier. When up, they ensure perfect patient safety and when down, they are completely out of the way for unhindered patient transfer.
To ensure that the personnel have a safe and firm grip for handling the patient transport trolley, push handles are positioned ergonomically. The standard version features handles at head and foot end at a fixed height, while you can choose foldable dual height handles optionally. They allow personnel to access their patients freely.
Select the appropriate stretcher mattress that meets the needs of your clinical setting. Non-slip mattress features Velcro strips on the underside, while transfer mattress features handles to allow with-mattress transfers. To provide perfect support and comfort to your patients, choose among three available options: responsive, comfort and extra comfort. The upholstery is made of antistatic PU material with welded and taped seams.

Enhanced patient safety and comfort
With the patient as the crucial consideration, Stretcher X2 is designed to ensure enhanced patients’ protection and comfort. The exceptionally low access height at 52 cm (+ mattress) allows easy mounting and dismounting, a feature that is particularly welcome for elderly patients. Stainless steel safety rails feature a patented solution that makes them even sturdier and easier to clean. Since the rails stretch almost along the full length of the trolley’s sides, they ensure complete patient safety. Various mattress options allow you to provide maximum support and comfort to your patients during the time they spend on the stretcher.
Flexible and reliable
The next Stretcher X generation improves hospital patient flow allowing caregivers to carry out their tasks even easier and more efficiently. The height adjustment is hydraulic, with foot pedals on both sides of the trolley. To act quickly in critical situations, the patient transport trolley allows you to adjust the Anti/Trendelenburg position hands free by only using foot pedals. To support patients with breathing or heart conditions or just to make them more comfortable, the head section can be lifted up to 80°. With a four-section stretcher, the leg section can be raised up to 27° with a knee gatch of -5°, which contributes to greater comfort and improves circulation. Since the stretcher sections are supported by gas springs, their adjustment requires minimal effort. The ABS plastic base cover features a space for storing the patient’s personal belongings. A smaller storage compartment under the head section for files, a tablet or a monitoring device is available as an optional accessory.
Smooth transport and perfect controls
The Stretcher X2 design includes a wide range of features to help the personnel maneuver and handle the trolley with ease. Stretcher X2 is 18 kg lighter than the previous X generation and, at the same time, exceptionally stable with a safe working load of 320 kg. Four large rubber castors featured as part of the standard equipment include an antistatic directional castor. With the addition of the optional fifth wheel, maneuvering the stretcher and turning it on the spot could not be easier, even if you are handling it on your own. The central castor locking system is operated via foot controls on the head and foot end as standard. As optional equipment, four side foot controls that allow for even greater flexibility are available. Push handles located at either end of the patient transport trolley ensure a safe and firm grip. Optional dual height push handles allow the personnel to lower them quickly to access and attend to the patient more easily. Bumpers on all four corners protect the stretcher against accidental damage.
The Stretcher X2 design featuring smooth surfaces and a removable mattress allows for easy cleaning and maintenance. Depending on how stretchers are used in your clinical department, you can choose between a non-slip and a transfer mattress. The non-slip mattress features Velcro strips on the bottom to prevent sliding when patients mount or dismount of the stretcher. The transfer mattress is intended for departments where patients are moved together with the mattress. It features handles and a smooth underside.
For patients’ optimum support and comfort, the two mattress types are available in three different options that vary in thickness and foam structure. The mattress responsive is made of a 6 cm highly flexible, quick-recovery foam. The mattress comfort is 8 cm thick and features a layer of memory foam. The mattress extra comfort is made of a three-layer foam, including memory and air permeable foam, and is 10 cm thick.

Customize the stretcher
By the addition of the optional fifth wheel, maneuvering and turning on the spot becomes considerably easier, especially when you are taking a patient to another ward by yourself.
Oxygen bottle holder
In case your patients often suffer from breathing difficulties, an oxygen bottle holder can be conveniently attached under the head section. Holders for 45 cm and 55 cm long bottles are available.
Four-sided foot controls
For even more efficient and care-free operation of the castors, the patient transport trolley can feature four-sided foot controls. It allows you to operate the castors regardless of where you stand around the stretcher.
Stretcher X2 can feature fixation rails along the sides, on foot and head end. They are of standard dimensions so you can attach any accessories required in your clinical setting.
Storage space under head section
To lay down a tablet, some files or a monitoring device during patient transport, an integrated storage space under the head section can be very handy. It is made of resistant plastic which makes it very easy to clean, too.
