The end of the last week was something special for all of us connected to Novak M company. We celebrated the 40th anniversary of the company. On this occasion, a dealers meeting and a celebration party were held.
We are pleased that so many of our dealers from Europe and also from Australia, Canada and Dubai took the time and joined us. We spent a pleasant evening in the Argentino Steakhouse, enjoying each other’s company and getting to know a few new faces.
On Friday morning, we dedicated some time to business. In Austria Trend Hotel congress room, the Sales Director Michael Segrada presented the novelties to be launched in 2020. The appreciation and feedback we received from our dealers, we take as an encouragement in the new product development. The lunch was served outside the hotel. Fresh air after a cool morning and the sun warming up made us enjoy the tasty hamburgers even more.
In the afternoon, we took our guests to Komenda to our company’s headquarters. Some of them walked through our production, assembly and warehouse for the first time. We believe it is important for our dealers as well to know the process that goes on after they place an order and before the products are delivered to the customer. We finished the tour with a glass of champagne and a toast to a good collaboration so far and in the future.
In the evening, all employees, the founder, his family and friends joined our guests from abroad for a dinner party. Exquisite food, excellent wine, the friendly atmosphere and live music that took us 40 years back to the 80ies. The celebration went on into the night everyone dancing and enjoying themselves.
The highlight of the evening was the Managing Director Miha Novak’s toast. He summed up the company’s history in three photos that were taken right there. The founder’s family was on the first one as Bojan Novak started the business in order to provide for his family. Miha Novak invited his wife Mateja and his business partner Michael Segrada to join him on the second photo. All employees joined them on the stage for the third one because it is the people who make the company what it is with who they are and what they do.
On Saturday morning, we wanted to show our guests at least a bit our beautiful country. A boat trip on the Ljubljanica river in the warm autumn sun made the Ljubljana old town look even more picturesque. We said our goodbyes after a lunch at Gjüžina in the old town after tasting some delicious traditional Slovenian dishes.
Thank you all for celebrating together with us. We enjoyed every moment. Looking forward to another 40 years!
