The World Health Organization (WHO) warns that the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted that people around the world have very different opportunities to live healthy lives and access the healthcare services. Many people struggle to survive without clean water, enough food and health care, which often leads to unnecessary suffering, illness and premature death. That is why WHO calls on leaders, decision-makers and all of us to take steps to reduce these inequalities.
At our family business, we are happy to participate in the healthcare chain with quality medical equipment of our own production. We believe that responsibility towards the society is a value. In the past, we have cooperated with expeditions of young people going to the third world countries and supported their selfless work.
WHO is dedicating the year 2021 to health and care workers in recognition and gratitude for their dedication in the fight against Covid-19. With the year-long campaign Protect. Invest. Together., they want to highlight the importance of investing in healthcare and its workers, which brings benefits to the whole society.
On World Health Day, let us also express our gratitude to all healthcare workers for their good and professional work, and for their care and compassion in caring for patients, not only during the pandemic, but every day at their job.
